Seacam Announces New Prelude Housing Line
By Matt J. Weiss, December 23, 2010 @ 12:39 PM (EST)
Ever wanted to be the owner of a shiny new Seacam but didn't want to fork over the cash for a new professional camera and a top of line housing? Well, if you put your hand up, then you are in luck. Seacam has announced their affordable Prelude line.
Prelude housings are being tagged as being "100% Secam for %40 less cost." So far, models for the Canon EOS 60D and the Nikon D7000 are being made and they are retailing for $3500 at the current Euro conversion rates. This is still the most expensive housing made for each model, but it certainly is a competitive price given the quality of Seacam housings.
