Seacam Announces Housing for Nikon D850
By Joseph Tepper, March 6, 2018 @ 02:27 PM (EST)

Seacam has announced their housing for the Nikon D850, a much-lauded full frame DSLR that shoots 46-megapixel stills. The housing incorporates much of what we’ve come to expect from Seacam including a saltwater-proof metal alloy build, titanium lock system, and an emphasis on ergonomics.

The D850 housing comes standard with five M16 ports, which can accommodate a variety of accessories. This is crucial for a dual threat camera like the D850. In theory, you could have two strobes, an external monitor, and a vacuum seal system setup all at the same time.

There’s no word on exact pricing or availability yet. However, you can learn more about the Seacam D850 housing in the press release, below.

Flexibility, endurance, and precision on a whole new level: The NIKON D850 redefines photographic perfection with a speed, sensitivity and a richness of details you haven’t seen before, making it the ideal tool for underwater use. The ideal companion is our new SEACAM silver NIKON D850 housing, which is fully equipped with all necessary functions and will be the key to your best photos below the surface.
