
Sea Turtle Preservation In Mexico On The Rise

As part of an ongoing national effort to protect the environment and sea life, Estrella del Mar Golf and Beach Resort in Mazatlan, Mexico is pleased to announce that it collected over 71,000 sea turtles eggs for supervised incubation and release in 2006.
Located on Stone Island, a peninsula just outside of Mazatlan, Estrella del Mar encompasses 3.5 of the 11 miles of nesting grounds where every year during the late summer months, female sea turtles emerge from the Pacific Ocean and return to their native birthplace to lay their eggs...
