
Scuba Divers Aim To Break Maldives Record At Quarry

In a small island nation in the heart of the Indian Ocean, a world record was set this year that Portage Quarry owner Jeff Rice hopes to break.
On Feb. 25, 979 scuba divers submerged off the shores of Maldives, south of India, successfully breaking the world record for "most people scuba diving simultaneously" on a single site. It's a record Mr. Rice believes can be broken in his quarry, with a little help from 1,000 scuba diving enthusiasts...
