Saga Announces Adapters For Inon Fisheye Macro Relay Lens

Reef Photo & Video has just sent us an update on the Saga port that can adapt the Inon UFL-MR130 EFS60 Fisheye Macro Relay Lens (sometimes to referred to as "insect eye lens") to many popular housings. We first reported on the Saga port at last years DEMA and have been keeping an eye on it. The Fisheye Macro Relay lens has created a buzz in the forums and show floor hallways, and now photographers other than those with the not so mainstream (maybe an understatement) Inon X2 housing can use them.

The Saga port allows for use of Inon Fisheye Macro Relay Lens with the Nikon 60mm, but the lens was designed to be used with a Canon 60mm so we are eager to find out how it performs with the Nikon lens. Also,note that there is no adaptor for Nikon full frames. Full information in the press release below.

Adapters for Inon UFL-MR130 EFS60 Fisheye Macro Relay Lens on Many Popular Housings
Reef Photo & Video and Saga Dive are proud to announce the availability of a full line of specialized FLEI macro ports adapting this unique fisheye macro tool to a variety of popular digital SLR housings from Aquatica, Ikelite, Nauticam, Seacam, Sea & Sea, and Subal. Previously only available for use with Inon X-2 Housings, this accessory enables UFL-MR130 to be used with most popular underwater imaging systems.
This lens is specifically designed for use with Canon EF-S Digital SLR Cameras and the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. Through careful testing, Saga have also managed to pair the AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D with this conversion lens. This adaptation opens the world of possibilities enabled by Fisheye Macro Relay Lens shooting to Nikon DX users!
This lens is specifically designed for use with Canon EF-S Digital SLR Cameras and the Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. Truly Unique Perspective
This new style of shooting enables creative compositions that have never before been possible, with small foreground subjects displayed prominently in the frame with an array of secondary subjects captured by the semi fisheye field of view. UFL-MR130 has an extremely small 24mm (diameter) front lens element, allowing the lens to be placed close to small subjects or in tight places. When paired with Canon EF-S 60mm /2.8 the lens has a 130.172 degree field of view and a 0cm close focus distance for outstanding near subject reproduction.
Light Weight, Rugged Construction
This port is machined from solid Delrin, yielding light weight for travel with plenty of strength. The included front lens window is constructed of aluminum and broad-band anti-reflective coated optical grade glass.
Versatile Modular Design
In addition to use with Inon UFL-MR130, Saga FLEI ports can also be used with a variety of other macro lenses. Each port includes a front window, attached in place of UFL-MR130 when using a 60mm macro lens on its own. This window is threaded, allowing the attachment of 67mm accessory closeup lenses for super macro photography. When coupled with extension rings (supplied by the housing manufacturer), this port can also be used with the popular 100 and 105mm macro lenses.
