RED has unveiled its new RAVEN camera, offering 4K recording at up to 120fps, 2K at up to 240fps, and 2K ProRes up to 60fps. On board is an 8.8 megapixel RED DRAGON image sensor measuring 20.48 mm x 10.8 mm, which is smaller than APS-C, but bigger than micro four-thirds. At just 3.5lbs (with Canon lens mount), it’s suitable for drone use as well as handheld. The RAVEN has the same dynamic range as RED’s WEAPON model: 16.5 stops. The camera supports the company’s MINI-MAG SSDs.

Shipping in February 2016, the RAVEN will be available in three different packages. Customers can reserve a package via a deposit:

RED released the following (not-particularly-revealing) video to accompany the launch.
