RED Raven Kit Now Sold Exclusively Via Apple Online

In a recent press release, cinema camera company RED announced it's Red Raven Camera Kit will now be sold exclusively through Apple's online store. As the kit is offered online, RED has collaborated with Apple to provide demonstrations at specific retail locations.

The Raven is one of RED’s more “affordable” kits—priced at $15,000 USD. It is considered to be a “ready-to-shoot professional package” by RED President, Jarred Land. The compact camera boasts 4.5K video at 120fps and 2K video at 240fps. The kit also includes a Sigma 18–35mm f/1.8 lens, Final Cut Pro X software, a heavy-duty carrying case, 4.7" LCD Touch Monitor, and other accessories.

The RAVEN 4.5K is RED’s most compact camera BRAIN, weighing in at just 3.5 lbs. The RAVEN is equipped with a 4.5K RED DRAGON sensor, and is capable of recording REDCODE RAW (R3D) in 4.5K at up to 120 fps and in 2K at up to 240 fps.
