A rare type of coral-like reef has been found in a second location in Scotland.
Serpulids, colourful structures found in only four other spots in the world - one of them also in Scotland - have been found growing in a sea loch.
The tube-like shells, housing colonies of red and orange worms, are on the bottom of Loch Teacuis in Argyll.
They were found during a routine scientific survey by Scottish Natural Heritage.
