
Panasonic 12-Megapixel LUMIX DMC-FX100 With HD Video

While we haven't been sent the official press release, DPReview.com has published a Panasonic press release with details on a new Panasonic LUMIX digital camera, model DMC-FX100. According to the press release the new LUMIX DMC-FX100 will be the world's first 12.2-megapixel 28mm wide-angle compact digital camera (as of May 21, 2007). Like other LUMIX digital cameras, the new DMC-FX100 will feature a LEICA lens and Panasonic's MEGA Optical Image Stabilization, and will also have the ability to record video in wide-aspect high-definition (1280 x 720) resolution, but only at 15 frames per second. Full frame (30fps) video is possible at VGA (640x480) resolution...
