To influx of point and shoots that will hit the market this year continues, as Panasonic announces 10 new models. First up are the Lumix DMC FS33 and DMC FS30 which feature a 8x image-stabalized 28mm-equivalent wide-angle zoom lens, a 14MP 1/3.33"-type sensors and HD video recording at 720p. The main difference between the cameras is that the FS33 has "3 inch touch screen to allow focusing and metering through tapping the screen. The FS30 gets your usual 2.7" LCD screen.

Also announced by Panasonic are three new ultra-flat compacts, the FP1, FP2 and FP3. They all have a 4x zoom lens that doe not extend to keep the camera thin. Again, the main difference is with the LCD screen -- the FP1 and FP2 get a conventional 2.7" LCD screen while the FP3 has a 3" touch-screen with touch auto-focus and metering.

Also in the lineup are the FS11 and FS10 which feature a 5x zoom, 28mm wide-angle lens, 720p video recording and 2.7" LCD screens. The only major difference is the FS10 has only 12mp while the FS11 gets 14mp.
Lastly, Panasonic revealed the new FH-Series to its 2010 line-up of compact cameras, which includes the LUMIX DMC-FH20, LUMIX FH3 and LUMIX FH1. The LUMIX FH-Series are slim cameras with a 28mm wide-angle lens that has 8x optical zoom for the FH20 and 5x optical zoom for the FH3/FH1. The FH20 and FH3 are 14mp and the FH1 is 3.0. Panasonic makes their own line of housings for their cameras and we have seen FS models recieve housings before, so it's possible they will come out with housings for the FS series cameras. It is unlikely we will the FP models underwater.
