Last week, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) reached a milestone, handing out its 20 millionth certification to a new diver in Guam.
Alexandra Swanson was informed of the honor and an all-expenses paid prize to the Great Barrier reef shortly after her certification on Sept. 4.
“This is the first time I’ve ever won anything in my entire life,” said Swanson, 22, only minutes after finding out about her prize.
Congrats to Ms. Swanson, PADI, and the Micronesian Divers Association.
