Each year, the entire Midwest (and international) dive community converges in one giant exhibition hall in Chicago.
For three days, the Our World Underwater expo is also the site of some of the best underwater photographs and videos in the world. In case you missed it, the winners from the international Our World Underwater photo competition were displayed at the coveted Divephotoguide Gallery at she show.
So for those of you who couldn’t make it to the “windy city” this weekend (stress on the windy part), here’s Our World Underwater 2013 through the lens of DPG:
OWU 2013 kicks off!
A packed DPG gallery was a common site at this year's show
DPG is also privileged enough to participate in the OWU film festivals, presenting the competition still winners on Friday and the videos on Saturday. In addition to seeing some awesome work from the best in the industry, it is a great opportunity to catch up with friends, colleagues, and of course, the "fish and famous."

Is there a housing on that dome? Yes! ZEN now makes these medium domes for smaller housings as well
But its not just all about the the winning pictures and equipment--it's a chance to catch up with some of our favorite people in the industry.
And it wouldn't be a dive show without the giant inflatables...
