Editor's note: Maria is one of our members from the UK who offers a truly inspiring course to those shooting with compact cameras. We all know that a good photographer behind any camera can nail some fantastic images, and Maria and her students are indeed proving that. One of her guests has won 'Photographer of the Month' with Sport Diver magazine (UK) and Maria has recently received a Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society for images taken with a compact camera. Congrats Maria!

Ocean Visions is continuing its successful One Day Underwater Photography Workshops for Beginners with Digital Compact Cameras to improve their underwater shots with a variety of courses held throughout the UK including Action Underwater TV Studios in Essex.

There is also a brand new ‘Getting Creative With a Compact Camera’ Course where guests learn how to use different Inon wide angle and macro lenses with their own cameras to create different effects underwater together with Magic Filters, as well as the ability to use Inon’s range of flashguns to learn how to take award winning photographs.

“Simply brilliant. This course is exactly what I’ve been waiting for to get to grips with how to use a flashgun underwater and am pleased to say that my photographs aren’t so blue anymore. I can’t believe the colours that they now possess instead of being pale and washed-out.” Stephen Jenkinson.

Ocean Visions also runs escorted trips for beginners to the Red Sea and Tonga and offers Inon accessories for guests to try out. Small groups are guaranteed for special results.
