
Olympus E-410 & E-510 Firmware Upgrades

Olympus has announced firmware upgrades for the E-410 and E-510. Both updates can be easily applied by the end user via the Olympus Master Software which ships with the camera body, and an Internet connection. Below is a description of the added functionality available for each camera once the upgrade has been applied;
E-410 Ver 1.2 - Improved reliability when writing to the new UDMA type (ultra direct memory access) high-speed Compact Flash cards. E-410 Ver 1.1 - Improved preview of the white balance settings when in Live-View mode. Addressed the issue of file names being reset after images are deleted.
