In Sony A300 and A350 the quick AF live-view technology is integrated for the first time. It makes it possible to take two pictures per second in the liveview-mode for fast action photography. The lag is almost null even in live-view mode. Furthermore the A350 offers a hinged display which provides a unique ease of use. A duplex anti-dust-system protects the sensor when the lenses are being changed.

All three models are in the prosumer segment and under €.1.000. Underwater housing BS Kinetics Sony Alpha Back

The Gibson underwater housing for these cameras is made from carbon fiber, which makes it extremely lightweight as well as meutrally bouyant. The housing has two secure-stainless-steel-clamps and a stregnthened inner housing border for more security. The housing offers easy access to all controls, and has strobe connections for common strobe models.

The Gibson housing is about €.1,760
