Expedition Titanic has released their first photos of the historic wreck to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the rediscovery of the R.M.S. Titanic.
The wreck of the R.M.S. Titanic rests 2.4 miles (3.8km) below the ocean’s surface. The Expedition is using acoustic imaging, sonar and 3D video to “virtually preserve” her, and to estimate how long she will survive in the current ocean conditions.
