Nudi lovers can rejoice with the news that underwater.com.au (Australia) and Masalai Press (USA) have announced the launch of the 2nd edition of the popular soft cover book Neville Coleman’s Nudibranchs Encyclopedia – Catalogue of Asia/Indo Pacific Sea Slugs. Neville, whose passing in 2012 left a large hole in many people’s hearts, was one of the most passionate underwater naturalists in the world.

The Nudibranchs Encyclopedia, his most popular book, sold out a while ago and the publishers decided to put together a revised and updated new edition of the bestseller in memory of Neville. A significant part of the proceeds of the book will support the Neville Coleman Legacy, a fund that aims to make his life’s work available to the world in digital form.

The book contains over 2,000 full color photographs presenting 54 families and 1,198 species of nudibranch. Keen nudibranch enthusiasts Gary Cobb and David Mullins both worked on the book, keeping alive the life’s work of an extraordinary underwater explorer and friend, Neville Coleman.

The Nudibranchs Encyclopedia is published by Underwater Australasia and Masalai Press and ships in September 2015. It is available for a limited time at a special pre-sale price of A$49.95 (inc GST).
