
More Nests Found Of Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtles In Texas

Discovery of 20 Kemp's ridley sea turtle nests this week has broken by 16 last year's record nestings by the endangered species on Texas beaches, scientists said Friday.
In 2006, the total of nestings documented was 102. This week's sightings bring the 2007 total to 118 and there still are several weeks remaining in the normal nesting season...
