LensPen Releases Products To Help Keep Your Camera Clean

By Drew Wohl, September 19, 2010 @ 11:54 PM (EST)
If you have been shooting a SLR for any amount of time, eventually the sensor will need cleaning, though the newer cameras with self cleaning sensors have help cut down on the amount of cleaning needed.  Plus lenses and even viewfinders get dirty.  I know I have looked through the viewfinder and have seen a stray eyelash now and again or the random dust spot in the same place in every photo.  Still do not know how some of them got there.

LensPen has released some products to help with these issues.  The SensorKlearLoupe® Kit has a device that is a lens in reverse to help see where dust is on the sensor, which you then clear out with a blower, or for more difficult spots, the SensorKlear II™ pen.

The DSLR Pro™ Kit includes the Original LensPen for lenses, FilterKlear™ for filters and MicroPro™ for viewfinders.  Each of these have a brush on one end to loosen and remove dirt and a chamois tip on the other end to keep things clean.  They come in a puch to help keep them handy.

And for those with an iPad, there is the  SideKick™ for iPads and tablets.
