On Monday, JVC announced the availability of the first full-HD 3D camcorder on the consumer market- the GS-TD1 Full HD 3D camera.
The new JVC GS-TD1 features two camera lenses and two separate image sensors in order to capture three-dimensional images similar to the mechanism behind the human eye. The captured video can be viewed on any 3D TV, as well as being exported on a Blu-ray disk for 3D viewing on a Blue-ray player.
Other features of the JVC GS-TD1 include a 3.32 megapixel CMOS sensor, a new shooting engine that allows for 1920 x 1080i resolution, and several shooting modes for 3D and traditional video.
