Join Jason Heller At The Curacao Dive Festival
DPG's very own Jason Heller will be presenting underwater photography seminars at this year's Curaçao Dive Festival. So if you're looking for some last minute diving plans this month - why not head on down to Curacao. The diving's great, the topside adventures diverse and the people are warm and friendly. I had a blast at last year's dive festival.
The Curaçao Dive Festival continues to grow each year, and provides divers and underwater photographers opportunities to dive during a week full of scheduled activities and seminars, hosted together by Curacao Tourism and the local dive operators.
Jason will be presenting 2 different underwater photography seminars at multiple resorts for the even participants:
"Principles and Techniques for (Digital) Underwater Photography", and
"The Underwater Imagery Handbook:The Internet"

Known for its superior dive sites, experienced dive instructors and well-respected dive schools, Curaçao has, for many years, been a top destination for divers all over the world. Those divers will be on-island again this year for the annual Curaçao Dive Festival from May 23-30, 2009. Not only will they enjoy great workshops and speakers, but this year’s Dive Festival will also run in tandem with Curaçao Now, the island’s twice-yearly promotion that offers discounts on everything from hotels and car rentals to shopping and dive sessions.
In addition, this year the Dive Festival welcomes several well-respected figures in the dive community who will speak on a variety of subjects: Professional photographer, publisher of popular underwater website DivePhotoGuide.com and author of the “Images” column in Sport Diver magazine, Jason Heller; President of Oceans for Youth Foundation and experienced Dive Instructor and Trainer, Captain Wayne Hasson; and airbrush painter and instructor of the Marine Art Paintbrush sessions during the Dive Festival, Peter Evers.
