Jason Bradley's Elephant Seal Photo Workshop
By Matt J. Weiss, January 15, 2010 @ 10:50 AM (EST)
Update: One spot remaining
I have just finalized my trip to join Jason Bradley's Elephant Seal Workshop that takes place just over three weeks from now on January 23rd and 24th. While this is not an underwater photography trip, it has to do with the photography of marine animals none the less, so I thought it could be of interest to DPG readers
As Jason explains, every winter female elephant seals come ashore to raise their young and males battle for control of the beaches at the Piedras Biancas elephant seal rookery. Jason says that it is "one of the most dynamic wildlife spectacles in North America."

The workshop features 2 full days of shooting Elephant Seals in San Simeon, California with seminars on
developing the photos in Lightroom and Photoshop in the evening.
Jason is a DPG contributor and an excellent photographer. You can read his article on black and white underwater photography in the techniques section.
Spots are limited because Jason wants to keep the group size to 15, so if you would like to join me on Jason's workshop act fast --there is only one spot left. It would be great to see a fellow DPGer out there! For full details on the trip visit BradleyPhotographic.com
