Jason Bradley Coastal Wildlife And Seascapes Workshop In Monterey California

By Matt J. Weiss, May 10, 2010 @ 11:30 AM (EST)
Professional photographer Jason Bradley will be offering a Seascapes Workshop next weekend in Monterey, California.  The workshop will take place over May 14-16th in Monterey and discuss a number of techniques including HDR photography and creating motion with water using long exposures. Bill Stotzner from the Adobe Lightroom development team will be co-instructing the trip and will be on hand to provide basic post production help.

I attended Jason and Bill's last workshop, Elephant Seal Photography, and learned a great deal while having a fun time. I flew out from the East Coast just for the weekend, and the knowledge I gained from the workshop made it well worth the trip. I learned far more than just how to photograph elephant seals, but basic knowledge about lighting, composition and post production (and I got to play with a 600mm f/2.8 lens!)

While this is not underwater photography, it's all about ocean imagery. Certainly stunning seascape images can help round off any underwater portfolio.  If you are free next weekend, check it out.  It's a great chance to learn from a professional. You can learn more on his website
