Ikelite Releases Six-Inch Dome for Olympus Tough TG-5 Housing
By Ian Bongso-Seldrup, August 14, 2018 @ 11:00 PM (EST)

Ikelite has released a new six-inch dome port especially designed for their housing for the Olympus Tough TG-5. The port, which is also compatible with Ikelite’s TG-4 and TG-3 housings, corrects for refraction to provide the full field of view of the camera’s lens, which is 25mm equivalent at its widest. That compares with the field of view of an approximately 33mm equivalent lens provided by a flat port.

As well as supporting full zoom through, the dome port still allows you to make use of the camera's awesome Microscope Mode for close-focus wide-angle shots, while shooting over-unders is also made possible. Weighing 13oz (370g) out of water, the port has an acetal body and an acrylic dome. A shade is included, which reduces reflections and provides protection for the dome.

The new DC1 six-inch dome port is available now and retails for $350.
