Ikelite Releases Red Cable Grip for Housings
By Ian Bongso-Seldrup, July 1, 2020 @ 08:00 PM (EST)

Ikelite has released a new cable top handle for its housings with dual tray and arm system. Ideal for carrying your system to and from a dive site, the Red Cable Grip for Housings features a stainless steel cable with comfortable rubber overlay and two carabiners. It is designed to work with dual trays for compact, mirrorless or DSLR housings with two arms attached.

The carabiners attach either around a ball mount stem or in the center slots of Ikelite’s ball arm sections—in which case the cable moves up and down freely as you switch between the carrying position and being in the water with strobe arms extended outwards. This provides an accessible handle for the person who you hand your system up to as you get back on the boat.

Available now, the cable top handle retails for $70.
