Ikelite Announces Housing For Nikon D7000
Editor's Note -- The D7000 is showing promise to be one of the top models for underwater use this year. As always, Ikelite is quick to the market. More information to come on the D7000 and housings as DPG contributors start to get their hands on them.
Ikelite has announced two new TTL SLR-DC housings for Nikon's newest cameras in its SLR family: Nikon D3100 and Nikon D7000. The housings, which are now “available to pre-order through any authorized dealer for December release,” are priced at $1400 for the D3100 and $1500 for the D7000.
Both products are constructed by Ikelite's trademark heavy-duty clear polycarbonate plastic and feature TTL exposure circuitry -standard in all of their housings- as well as functional to a depth of 200ft (60m).
