Ikelite’s housing for the Cybershot is designed to attract beginning photographers into the world of underwater photography with the housing companies sturdy design and the camera’s features. Uniform in Ikelite manufacturing, the Ikelite housing for the DSC-HX9V is built from solid polycarbonate plastic and is depth rated to 200ft (60m). Additionally, two threaded mounts on the bottom of the housing give the more advanced underwater beginner the chance to attach a tray and strobes.

More information on the housing, which is expected to retail at $400, can be found on Ikelite’s product page
