Belgian housing maker Hugyfot has released its housing for the Nikon D850. The all-singing, all-dancing full-frame DLSR boasts a 45.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 7fps continuous shooting with autofocus, and 4K/30p video capture with no sensor crop.
Machined out of a solid block of high strength aluminum and finished with a hard anodisation and Teflon coating, Hugyfot’s housing features rigid aluminium handles with ball mounts plus a ball mount on the top. Full access to camera controls is available, and the HugyCheck vacuum check system and a Nikonos 5-pin bulkhead are fitted as standard. There are also two ports for attaching strobes via fiber-optic cables, which requires an optional TTL converter or LED trigger.
For more details on the housing and compatible lenses, check the Hugyfot website. Check with your local dealer for pricing.
