Help Stop Shark Finning in the EU - Write your MEP

Project AWARE is asking that the European diving community continue to encourage their Member of European Parliament (MEP) to sign the Written Declaration 0071/2010, “calling on the EU Committee to deliver a proposal to completely prohibit the removal of shark fins on-board vessels by the second anniversary of the Community Plan for Sharks (February 2011)”

Since the current declaration lapses in December of this year, your MEP must sign by December 20, 2010.  Project AWARE had made it quick and esay for EU residents to find out if their MEP has signed or not, and if not, they’re providing a template letter to be sent to the MEP.
