GoPro Releases Floaty Backdoor for HD Hero
By Joseph Tepper, July 25, 2011 @ 02:49 PM (EST)
Today, GoPro has released the latest accessory for their popular HD Hero Camera- the “Floaty Backdoor.” The Floaty Backdoor is a buoyant backing for the HD Hero that attaches with an industrial strength 3M adhesive.
The company has released the backdoor as a way to safeguard your HD Hero during strenuous water activities like snorkeling, diving, surfing, and wakeboarding. If separated from the owner, the brightly colored, extremely buoyant Floaty Backdoor will keep your camera at the surface. This could be an interesting way to add bouyancy to your rig, just be careful not let go of your GoPro underwater.

The product is available today from GoPro’s product website or from other retailers for the MSRP of $14.99.
