First Facebook Underwater Photo Contest Results

We are proud to announce the winners of the first ever Facebook underwater photography
contest, hosted by DivePhotoGuide. The first place winners in our two initial categories, "Open" & "Novice", will receive a signed coffee table book from
WYLAND, and will receive an award plaque.
This inaugural contest ran from Sept 16th - Oct. 31, 2008 and over 300 entries were submitted. Congratulations to the winners!
1) Open: This is any underwater image, macro or wide angle.
1st Place: Ken Bondy

Disqualified: Special Mention
This would have been the third place image. The judging team really loved the shot, but the photographer failed to respond to us in time with all the pertinent details, so we were forced to disqualify it. If you are "Diving Unlimited", please email us and provide details and we will revert it to an honorable mention.
