
First Coral Reef National Park In Sarawak

An offshore area, measuring nearly 190,000ha, has become the first coral reef national park in Sarawak.
Located in Miri Division and off the Miri and Sibuti coasts, the area was declared a coral reef national park on Feb 28.
Assistant Tourism Minister Hamden Ahmad said among the major attractions at the Miri-Sibuti Coral Reef National Park were its majestic reefs and diving spots.
The coral reefs national park is part of the Subis Planning Zone, which covers the coastal areas of Kuala Niah, Kuala Sibuti and Kuala Bakam, south of Miri town...
