Indonesia Lembeh Team
The first-ever international critter shootout, the Lembeh-Gulen Critter Shootout, begins today, and both the Norway Gulen Team and the Indonesia Lembeh Team are ready for action. The two teams will be going head to head over the next seven days from opposite sides of the globe to see who can capture the best critter images. There will be training days with international photo pros, competition days, prizes and online judging.
The major event will showcase some of the world’s most sought-after critters as well as commentary, tips and advice from some of the planet’s most well-known underwater photographers, including Dr Alex Mustard, Tobias Friedrich and Keri Wilk.
The pioneering event will see teams battling it out, shot for shot, critter by critter, in two completely different environments: cold water and drysuits take on warm water and wetsuits, Norway versus Indonesia, Northern Hemisphere versus Southern Hemisphere—this is an epic competition!
If you want to learn more about macro photography, critters, diving in Indonesia, and diving in Norway, then the Lembeh Gulen Critter Shootout Facebook page is the place to be. Follow the event by “Liking” the page and vote on the entries uploaded by both teams. Which continent will win? You vote, you decide!
