Fantasea has announced the imminent arrival of its housing for the new Sony a6400 midrange APS-C mirrorless camera. The a6400 has the same 24.2MP sensor, 425 phase-detection AF points, 11fps continuous shooting, and 4K UHD 30p video capabilities as the models that sit either side of it in the a6000 series lineup, the a6300 and a6500, but offers faster autofocus acquisition speed, faster tracking and Eye AF, and some improved video features.
The new FA6400 housing promises similar features to Fantasea’s FA6500 housing for the a6300 and a6500: robust injection molded polycarbonate build, access to all important camera controls, double O-ring seal, and compatibility with a range of lenses, strobes, and accessories.
