Equinox Announces Canon 5D Mark II
Equinox housings has announced the release of its latest housing for Canon's 5D Mark II.
In keeping with the increasing trend of shooting HD video with DSLRs, the latest housing for the 5D is specifically designed for shooting video with the versatile 16-35mm lens (custom fittings for other lenses is available upon request).
The basic design features four main controls -the “shutter button”, “menu button”, “menu select & scroll”, and “play”- while other button combinations can be added for an extra cost. Weighing in at 12lbs on the surface, the housing also features Equinox's “ballast release handles” designed to make the set-up positively buoyant if dictated by certain situations.
The housing is priced at $1599 and is available for purchase at Equinox's website.
