The birth of twelve new, baby Eagle Rays at the Australian Oceanworld Manly aquarium poses a quandary for experts, who have kept the mother of the 'pups' separated from the males for the last two years.
The baby Eagle Rays, who immediately became the subject of a semi-viral video, have caused great confusion among scientists who do not believe that the sperm of the male Eagle Rays can last as long as the genders have been separated.
The whole thing is starting to feel like some “stingray Telenovela,” and can be watched here.
