
Dolphin Strandings Continue In Cape Cod

Stranding network rescuers hurried to a Wellfleet beach today in hopes of saving eight Atlantic white-sided dolphins that have come ashore. The team of staff and volunteers brings with them medical supplies, ambulances and stretches--all tools necessary to aid distressed marine mammals. Today marks the eleventh day of strandings which began on December 29, 2006. Close to thirty dolphins have stranded themselves on Cape beaches in that time...
