DEMA 2008: Mangrove Underwater Technology
By Matt J. Weiss, October 30, 2008 @ 02:00 AM (EST)
Mangrove Underwater Technology was showing off their latest underwater video housings at DEMA 2008. I had never heard, let alone seen, a Mangrove housing so it was pretty cool to check them out. The Spanish company has been around for a while, but seems to be pretty under the radar in the US.
Other products being shown were an underwater video tripod, their line of lights specifically made for Mangrove housings and other interesting and innovative products. Also, they demonstrated their fully electronic white balance controls.
The very cool electronic white balancing was being demonstrated to me.
