DEMA 2007: Light & Motion
The big news at Light & Motion is the multi-camera fitting Stingray video housing. As the new generations of cameras create the need to upgrade, housing companies are struggling with ways to keep pace. The adjustable tray of the new Stingary allows adjustment for 10 existing video camera models.
The Stingray comes with
a monitor back, similar to the Amphibico models. Also hot for DEMA the Sunray
100 & Sunray 2000 video lights. I caught L&M at the end of the show
(although their booth was technically closest to ours), and didn’t get much
time to play with the lights. From what I understand they are worth looking
into!
Light & Motion D300
Also according to Light & Motion sources, they are considering a housing for the Nikon D300.
I was asked to publish a public call to shooters everywhere: If you want Light & Motion to develop a D300 housing, drop them a line and petition on its behalf!
