There have been a lot of new discoveries in the news lately, most notably the 100's of species discovered in an Australia. This new discovery may take the prize for coolest one though.
British scientists have recently caught the worlds deepest living fish on camera. The fish was more than 5 miles below the ocean's surface.
The fish is called a hadal snailfish and lives the inhospitable cold, high pressure deep ocean below 3.7 miles. They eat on time crustaceans and are scavengers of dead carcasses. This weird ghostly white fish offer a rare glimpse into the deep. Very cool.
