Deadline Approaching for DPG’s October Photo Contest
By Joseph Tepper, October 27, 2011 @ 08:00 PM (EST)

It’s finally starting to get a little chilly outside and that means one thing- DPG’s “Strange and Spook-tacular” October monthly photo contest. But the deadline is only a few days away on October 31st!

Below is the overview of this month’s contest. For more information, you can visit the Monthly Contest Page or the Contest Rules Page. And good luck!

Enter your best shots of strange, creepy, and weird creatures for the chance to win a $150 prize!

“Strange and Spook-tacular” is the theme for the August Monthly Contest here at DPG! As underwater photographers, we know that some of the coolest things to see underwater have a face that only a mother can love- that’s if you can tell what the face is. With Halloween coming up, we are excited to see all of the shots that make your friends squeal, squirm and scream- stargazers, hairy frogfish, and Bobbitt worms are just some that we can think of.

Enter your best shots of the “strange, but spook-ttacular” for the chance to win $150 cash and all of the glory that accompanies winning a DPG monthly contest. Entering is easy: use our simple image uploading system to enter an image or select a picture from one of your existing DPG galleries. You can enter up to three images per contest; and best of all, it’s totally FREE! Click here for a full set of rules and guidelines.

The deadline for entering this month’s contest is October 31. Whether your shots are tricks or treats, we can't wait to seem them- and good luck!
