Political tensions have kept American scientists from Cuba's unspoiled reefs, but a new partnership for marine research is
trying to change that.
NPR reporter Nick Miroff had the oppurtunity to travel with Cuban and American scientists to Los Jardines De la Reina - The Queen's Gardens, an area almost completely void of any human presence.
Only a few a few hundred divers visit the reefs of Queen's Gardens each year and it is described by scientists as being "sort of like 'Jurassic Park'" I suggest reading Nikc Miroff's full article about this area.
