Climate Change Could Help The Australian Grey Nurse Shark

Accordingly to Australian news outlet ABC News, a new study has shown that Australia's critically endangered grey nurse shark could benefit from global warming.

Scientists say that the east and west coast populations have been isolated from one another for more than 100,000 years.

They say the cold water of the Victorian and South Australian coasts has prevented them from migrating towards each other.

But associate Professor Corey Bradshaw from the University of Adelaide says that as the sea temperature rises the shark populations may join up, reducing the likelihood of extinction...
