Celebrities Who Care About the Ocean

With all of the negative press celebrities receive, it is hard to imagine that they have time to help save the ocean. Aquaviews.net recently published an article listing what some celebrities are doing to help protect the health of the world’s waters.

One example of rockstars raising awareness is the group Pearl Jam, which have been contributors to the Surfrider Foundation, the world’s largest environmental organization dedicated to protect ocean and beaches.  Funny man Ted Danson has had a hands-on role in raising ocean awareness since he began serving on Oceana’s board of directors, and has even lobbied congress in favor of ocean conservation.
