When the Marine Conservation Board (MCB) voted earlier this year to remove eleven of the twenty-two dive moorings in the Bloody Bay Marine Park (BBMP), a debate was set in motion between two divided interests in the Sister Islands: fishermen and Scuba divers. At a meeting of Little Cayman dive operators and other interested parties on 4 December, attendees expressed concern that if half of the moorings in BBMP were removed, there would be severe adverse repercussions to the tourism industry on both Sister Islands...
