Paul Watson, the Ahab who scours the Southern Ocean for the Japanese whaling fleet, is preparing for another attack, this time on behalf of a white whale.
This summer, the Japanese fleet is to add Australian humpbacks to the hundreds of whales it kills in the name of science and sells for meat.
Captain Watson, president of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, is in Tasmania to repair his ship for a campaign he calls Operation Migaloo, after the alabaster humpback that migrates annually along the Australian east coast...
