By Joseph Tepper, February 1, 2013 @ 06:09 AM (EST)
Canon has announced plans for a future firmware update for its EOS 1D-C cinema DSLR. The update will add support for 25p recording at the camera’s high-quality 4K resolution.
The upgrade is a demand that comes from the European professional video community, according to the company’s press release. Don’t get too excited for the update right away—it isn’t expected to be released until April.
