
Belgrade Underwater Film Festival Wins UN Recognition

On the occasion of March 22, the World Water Day 2007, the efforts of the International Underwater Film Festival (IUFF) in Belgrade were recognized by the UNEP MAP (UN Environmental Programme), for its role as one of the most important European film festivals dedicated to and promoting protection of world's water.
Emphasizing the importance of culture and art in raising the awareness about environmental protection, the UNEP's Rome-based Information and Communication Centre listed IUFF in the network of UN sponsored festivals...
