BBC World News Channel’s program Fast Track has posted a fascinating new video clip, which examines the issues of conservation in the Galapagos Islands.
The news clip, posted here on the BBC News website, gives a very intriguing look into the balance between tourism and conservation in these unique islands. New laws have restricted movements of dive boats and tour operators to ensure the survival of the delicate ecosystem. If you have ever traveled to the Galapagos, or are thinking about it, check the video out.
After checking out the video, swing on over to the DPG expeditions page and look at the 2012 DPG Galapagos photo expedition for a chance to catch the action first hand!
