
Authorities Plan Marine Pest Clean-up On Boats

NT Fisheries says the clean-up operation for three Indonesian fishing boats who carried marine pests into Darwin will be the first of its kind in the Territory.
The boats were amongst a group of seven caught by the Navy off the Wessel Islands a week-and-a-half ago.
The boats were brought into Darwin Harbour but three had to be quickly towed out to sea again after asian green and black-striped mussels were found on their hulls...
